The Syndicate
The Syndicate's mission is to represent the interests of Department of Theatre grad students through bi-quarterly meetings, social functions, and professional development events. We seek to address issues revolving around student teaching, research, production work, and the general grad student experience at Ohio State.
The purpose statement from the Syndicate's constitution reads: "The purpose of the organization shall be to provide graduate students in the Ohio State University Theatre Department with an outlet for discussion and support. This organization will be a resource to help clarify academic requirements and to serve as an advocacy group for Theatre Department graduate students. The organization may also be a forum for grievances which can then be brought before the department’s appropriate governing body."
